GMU was engaged by Landmark East Pty Ltd to undertake an urban design study for the site at 142-154 Macquarie Street Parramatta. GMU investigated the heights, FSR and massing that were appropriate for the site based on planning framework for the surrounding area, the Metropolitan Strategy for Parramatta and the role of the site as part of the future Parramatta.

GMU and the project team had undertaken a detailed analysis in order to establish the most appropriate outcome for the subject site and for Parramatta as a Second CBD in the hierarchy of centres in the Sydney Metro area. The master plan delivered a high quality and unique marker, open space and pedestrian network which could benefit the community and the residents of the Parramatta CBD and its surroundings.
